The idea

dr_william_peze2003: William's mother develops the first symptoms of the Alzheimer's disease. William is extremely busy practicing in a Parisian Hospital, and travels very often abroad to pursue his research studies. Therefore Catherine, his elder sister, is alone most of the time to support their mother's declining memory (which is true for a large number of families).

William has little time available, but he is generous and has many connections in the medical arena. He thus decides to look for a technical and effective device to assist his sister, in her daily supporting duties to their mother's failing memory, allowing Mother to gain more autonomy.

The "Post-it" and "alarm clocks" & other "Diaries" solutions reveal themselves inefficient and outdated to him, but he has to face it, there is no simple, practical solution available in the whole world!

William then decides to create MEM-X, as it is today, i.e., the simplest unfailing and user friendly remedy to assist declining memory.
